Tom Elliott and a paediatric dietitian have clashed over the body image controversy that’s engulfed popular kids cartoon Bluey.

The new episode has drawn criticism over what some say is a harmful “fatphobic” message it sends to children.

Dr Kyla Smith said the issue had been “blown a little bit out of proportion” but potentially sent a dangerous message.
