Tom Elliott and Sussan Ley go head-to-head on controversial Jacinta Price demotion

Federal opposition leader Sussan Ley has commented on Jacinta Nampijinpa Price’s high-profile demotion last week.

Senator Nampijinpa Price was dumped from the frontbench after refusing to back Ley’s leadership in the wake of her controversial comments about Indian-Australians.

“She will continue to contribute, and she has much to add to public policy,” Ms Ley told Tom Elliott.

“My team are all valuable … everyone in the team is contributing everywhere they are (in the cabinet).”
