Tom Elliott backs push to ban all foreign political donations

Tom Elliott has applauded a government push to ban all foreign donations to political parties.

The 3AW Drive host said “nothing good” could possibly come from allowing international influences in Australian politics.

“It makes so much sense,” Tom Elliott said.

“Foreigners don’t donate out of the goodness of their heart, they do it to buy influence and change the laws and policy of Australia.

“It should be banned and the government, for once, is on to a winner.”
