Tom Elliott blasts Qantas’ 50% female pilot target
Qantas has committed to a target of at least 50 per cent women in its pilot cadet intake in ten years’ time, in a bid to boost the number of female pilots in Australia.
Tom Elliott says the airline has become “a bastion of political correctness” under CEO Alan Joyce (pictured above).
“When you step on board an aeroplane you do not care what your pilot has between his or her legs,” Tom said.
“All you care about is that they are the best that they can possibly be, because your life is in their hands.”
