Tom Elliott calls for ‘Singapore style’ justice in Australia

Tom Elliott wonders whether it’s time Australia looks to Singapore on how best to tackle crime.

The 3AW Mornings host says the country’s hardline stance on all type of offences led to a society that respected the law and was overall a safer place to live.

“Singapore is a place than worships and respects the rule of law,” he said on 3AW.

“They have caning and the death penalty…they simply do not tolerate crime.

“Maybe it is time to have Singaporian style justice here.”
