Tom Elliott calls on federal government to ‘come clean’ on immigration

Tom Elliott has called on the federal government to “come clean” on Australia’s immigration policy.

It comes after the government conceded net migration would be “significantly higher” than forecast, with as many as 350,000 immigrants now set to arrive in Australia in the next financial year.

“It is not something that ‘just happens’ – you are issuing the visas,” a frustrated Tom Elliott said on Friday.
