Tom Elliott can’t believe the amount some parents are spending on birthday parties

Tom Elliott was shocked to read some parents are spending up t0 $15,000 on lavish birthday parties for their child’s first birthday party.

The 3AW Mornings host said amid the current cost of living crisis, he was surprised to learn some parents still have the means to spend thousands of dollars on expensive celebrations.

“The parents are clearly doing it for themselves,” Tom said on 3AW.
