Tom Elliott clashes with councillor over Middle East motion

Tom Elliott can’t understand why one councillor is using his platform to engage in global politics instead of focusing on local issues.

Victorian Socialists councillor at the City of Bendigo, Owen Cosgriff, has submitted a motion relating to the current war in the Middle East.

While Cr Cosgriff has defended his decision, the 3AW Mornings host can’t understand why he’s involving himself in overseas politics.
