Tom Elliott condemns ‘ridiculous’ example of racial segregation at Canberra hospital

Tom Elliott is incensed at an example in Canberra of people being separated by their race.

A local hospital in the nation’s capital has developed a menu tailored to Aboriginal people, whole also establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lounge.

“For a public hospital in Canberra to do this is utter madness,” Tom said on 3AW Mornings.

“Separate menu for indigenous people and separate rooms to sit in – it is ridiculous and it’s racist”.
