Tom Elliott endorses bold tax deductible Olympic donation plan

Tom Elliott has endorsed a bold plan allowing Australians to make a tax-free deduction to aspiring Olympians.
The Australian Olympic Committee and Australian Sports Foundation have committed to working together on the scheme, which could generate more revenue for underfunded sports and their participants.
Victorian Institute of Sport CEO and former Olympian, Nicole Livingstone, said the plan made a lot of sense.

“It has a lot of merit,” Ms Livingstone said on 3AW Mornings.
“This project has been launched to help Australian athletes not only have success (at the Olympics), but keep doing their sport. They are living below the poverty line.”
