Tom Elliott explains why Australia’s economy is in ‘serious trouble’

Tom Elliott has outlined several factors as to why Australia’s economy is in “serious trouble”.

It comes after recent figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics confirmed the country is in a per capita recession.

“For all sorts of reasons, we are going backwards,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“So if you think that you’re not doing quite as well this year compared to say last year, you’re absolutely right.

“Without immigrants pouring into this country, we would be in a real recession, that is the absolute truth.”
