Tom Elliott grills the VEC for answers over council election fines

Tom Elliott has locked horns with the Victorian Electoral Commission over fines issued following last year’s council elections.

3AW Drive has been flooded with stories from people who believe they’ve been wrongly or unfairly fined.

So Tom Elliott went to the VEC for answers.

A frustrating exchange with Lawson Fletcher, senior communications officer, followed.

‘You can’t ignore the correspondence that’s sent from the VEC,’ he said.
