Tom Elliott hits out at Adam Bandt over proposed rent freeze across Australia

Tom Elliott has hit out at Greens leader Adam Bandt after he proposed a two year rent freeze across Australia.

The Greens will block the Labor government’s $10 billion Housing Australia Future Fund in the Senate unless the states freeze rents, with the 3AW Drive host believing it’s not the solution to the rental crisis.

“His understanding of economics is basically terrible,” Elliott said.
