Tom Elliott in disbelief over pro-Palestinian cause becoming ‘really fashionable’ to support

Tom Elliott cannot understand how supporting Palestine and Hamas in the current war against Israel has become “really fashionable” amongst those living in Melbourne.

In a passionate editorial, the 3AW Drive host has urged those in the pro-Palestinian camp to consider that Hamas originally started the war, which began on October 7 when the group stormed southern Israel from Gaza and attacked civilians.

“It’s suddenly become really fashionable amongst people who don’t normally have strong opinions on politics to be pro-Palestinian and anti-semitic,” Tom said on 3AW Drive.

“People who live in suburbs like Glen Iris, Kew or Hawthorn and don’t have strong political opinions normally, but all of a sudden they have declared (their support for) Hamas.”
