Tom Elliott labels Australia’s high immigration a ‘giant Ponzi scheme’
The Institute of Public Affairs has revealed that in the past 12 months, Australia has brought in a net immigration of 500,000 people.
And Tom Elliott has questioned why the federal government has to reduce immigration levels.
“High rates of immigration is nothing more than a giant Ponzi scheme,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Public Affairs, Daniel Wild, then highlighted the “real problem” with Australia’s high level of immigration.

“There’s a lot of pressure to bring in more people, but not a not of pressure to cut it back,” Mr Wild told Tom Elliott.
