Tom Elliott on the changes to criminal responsibility + the introduction of an expert panel

Tom Elliott has discussed the changes coming to the age of criminal responsibility as well as the introduction of an expert panel.

Currently the age of criminal responsibility is 10, but it will rise to 12 before eventually rising to 14.

“I don’t even know why the government is bothering to have an expert panel, because the media release already presents as a fait accompli … so what this committee is supposed to do, I just don’t know,” he said.
