Tom Elliott predicts a grim future for free-to-air television

It follows news profits for Channel 7 and Channel 10 have taken a major hit.

‘I honestly think, at best, they’ve got five to 10 years before they come so irrelevant and shut down,’ Tom Elliott said on Thursday.

He believes the video rental industry has suffered much more than free-to-air TV has.
