Tom Elliott questions ‘double-standard’ in footy, with AFLW player to sit out pride round

Tom Elliott says a double-standard has emerged in the AFL when it comes to religious rights after GWS announced Haneen Zreika would again sit-out the AFLW’s pride round due to her beliefs.

It comes after Essendon’s new CEO, Andrew Thorburn, was forced to resign after just a day in the role when his links to a conservative church became public.
