Tom Elliott questions ‘silly’ statement from republic movement ahead of Commonwealth Games

The Australian Republic Movement has put out a statement praising some of the world’s “greatest republics” ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

But it’s left Tom Elliott with more questions than answers.

So he threw them at Michael Cooney, the movement’s national director, on Wednesday.
