Tom Elliott is questioning the Victoria Police chief commissioner Mike Bush decision to rule out protests permits just days before pro-Palestine protesters plan to shut down the King Street Bridge.

The Mornings host says while he agrees people have the right to protest, it’s not an unfettered right.

“You should not be allowed to shut down an arterial road just because you want to have a protest,’ he said.
