Tom Elliott reacts to Metro Tunnel platforms ‘stuff-up’

According to multiple reports, the new platforms in the Metro Tunnel don’t line up with the height of the train floors.

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott has reacted to the “stuff-up” and questions how this can be fixed.

“This a stuff-up of potentially monumental proportions,” Elliott said.

President of the Public Transport Users Association, Daniel Bowen, told Tom Elliott meeting the requirement’s of disabled people shouldn’t be “too hard”.

Bowen highlighted the importance of accessibility not only for the disabled users, but for all travelers.

“You really hope that they will meet that promise,” he said.
