Tom Elliott reacts to Rolling Stone’s greatest songs of all-time list (and reveals his pick)

Jacqui Felgate

Tom Elliott admits he was a bit shocked by Rolling Stone magazine’s latest list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All-Time.

The top 10 has caused plenty of debate.

Tom said he was surprised it didn’t feature Elvis Presley, Queen or ABBA.

Aretha Franklin’s RESPECT was ranked the greatest song of all-time on the list.

Tom Elliott said Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart was the best song ever, in his opinion.

It came in at No.41.

He spoke about the list with Tyler Jenke, Editor of Rolling Stone Australia, on Friday.
