Tom Elliott responds to Adam Bandt’s ‘heroes’ remark in parliament

Tom Elliott has panned Greens leader Adam Bandt after he called Extinction Rebellion protesters “heroes” in parliament.

“What utter nonsense,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“The word hero is bandied about too much.

“People who put their lives on the line for our country – they are heroes.”
