Tom Elliott rips state government over Suburban Rail Loop hypocrisy
Tom Elliott has got stuck into the Victorian government after Daniel Andrews refused to be drawn into a debate about the cost-benefit of the increasingly controversial Suburban Rail Loop project on Thursday.
It comes after it was revealed the first two sections of the loop alone would cost more than double what the government previously said it would.
“This is a Premier and state government that knocked back the East-West Link, eight odd years ago, saying it didn’t stack up,” Tom Elliott said.
