Tom Elliott rubbishes the idea of “YOLO” leave

Tom Elliott has rubbished the idea of “YOLO” leave from work.

It has come to light that some employers are giving their workers extra days off because YOLO: You Only Live Once.

But Tom doesn’t understand it.

“If you just want a day off because you’re a bit sick of working, that is was annual leave is for,” he said.

Heather Jones from Filtered Media is an employer who offers YOLO leave.

“It’s for days where the sun is shining brightly and you want to be at the beach. Go do it,” Ms Jones told Tom Elliott.

She said the research shows it increases productivity in the long run.
