Tom Elliott says ‘merit is going out the window’ due to gender quotas

Tom Elliott has rubbished calls from sex discrimination commissioner Kate Jenkins to improve gender balance in contracted organisations.

The 3AW Drive host said the positions must go to the best person for the job, regardless of gender.

He had an interesting exchange about the matter with Claire Braund.
