Tom Elliott says The Footy Show is finished.

The Channel 9 program was again beaten in the ratings by The Front Bar on Channel 7.

“It’s time to put The Footy Show out of its misery,” Tom Elliott said on Friday.

The 3AW Drive host said the program was “revolutionary” when it began in 1994.

“However, nothing lasts forever in television,” he said.
