Tom Elliott says there is an ‘inevitable’ reality footy fans need to face

Tom Elliott says it’s inevitable fewer AFL games will be available on free-to-air television in future.

He said footy fans needed to face the reality the sport was a business, full of professionals, and not the same sport it was in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

It comes on the back of reports there will be more games behind a paywall in the next deal, which has sparked outrage among some fans.
