Tom Elliott shares his stance on politician wages

Tom Elliott says politicians should have their pay cut after the independent Renumeration Tribunal announced all Victorian MPs would be gettng a pay rise of 3.5 per cent.

“The sort of person who goes into politics doesn’t do it for money — they do it because they crave political power … We should not be paying politicians extra money, in fact, we should cut their pay. None of them are going to resign,” he said.
