Tom Elliott slams parents ‘outsourcing’ their child’s upbringing at urban boarding schools

Tom Elliott has slammed working parents who send their children to urban boarding schools.

Wesley College has a new boarding facility that houses students from years 10 to 12.

The 3AW Drive host said parents were basically ‘outsourcing’ their child’s upbringing.

‘The parents basically outsource the bringing up of their children’s during the week,’ he said on 3AW Drive.

The students would stay on campus Monday to Friday and return home for the weekend.

‘People think having a career is more important than bringing up their own children,’ Tom Elliott said.
