Tom Elliott speaks with Arei Freiberg

The Chair of the Victorian Sentencing Advisory Council says you shouldn’t be surprised by the proposal to keep the state’s most violent criminals locked up in a new high-security facility.

They’d be held even after they’d served their sentence.

Professor Arie Freiberg spoke with Tom Elliott about the government recommendation today.

‘It’s not a surprising one,’ he said on 3AW Drive.
