Tom Elliott has supported the Liberal Party’s recent intake of ‘angry pills’.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull launched a scathing attack on the opposition leader in parliament on Wednesday, while Victorian Shadow Attorney-General John Pesutto also got worked up in response to tightening bail laws.

Tom said it was good to see Mr Turnbull show some emotion.

‘He has a habit of lecturing people like a schoolmaster or a tutor. Now he’s getting stuck in,’ he said.

Tom said Mr Pesutto sounded like a 1970s football coach.
