Tom Elliott takes Lidia Thorpe to TASK over confrontation outside strip club

Tom Elliott has taken controversial politician Lidia Thorpe to task after she was caught in an ugly confrontation outside a Brunswick strip club in the early hours of the morning.

The 3AW Drive host says she has “no place” in Australian parliament.

He questioned what would happen if a similar situation emerged involving a male politician who was white.

David Ross is general manager of Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club and told Tom Elliott he had never seen anything like it.

He said Senator Thorpe would not be allowed back inside the club unless something “significant” changed.
