Tom Elliott: The ‘evil day’ around gas supply issues is now ‘virtually upon us’

Tom Elliott is calling on to do something about a looming gas crisis, saying the warnings have been apparent for years.

Victorians are being warmed of a potential critical gas shortage as the state shivers through a cold start to winter.

“We are running short of gas and we have to do something about it,” he said on 3AW.

“All the bleating about transitioning to renewables, no. We need more gas right now. It’s one of these issue we knew was coming, suddenly the evil day is upon us and we do nothing.”
