Tom Elliott urges Australia to take a ‘leaf out of Canada’s book’ to fix current rental crisis

Canada’s dramatic immigration freeze has led to a sustained fall in rents, with experts saying it could be Australia’s way out of the current rental crisis.

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott thinks it is “worth looking at what Canada does” and questions why Australia isn’t doing the same thing.

“The parallels with Australia are extraordinarily similar,” Elliott said on 3AW Mornings.
