Tom Elliott weighs in on the new big cost blowout to the Metro Tunnel project

Tom Elliott has weighed in on the state government announcing a new cost blowout to the Metro Tunnel project yesterday.

The project is now expected to cost $4 billion more than originally planned, with Minister for Transport Infrastructure Danny Pearson explaining yesterday why the new $837 million cost blowout may’ve occurred.

“Weirdly the state government is presenting this as a victory,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
