Tom Elliott’s idea to help those sleeping rough on Melbourne streets

Tom Elliott has come up with an idea to help give Melbourne’s roughest sleepers a place to sleep, as he condemns the lack of action.

The 3AW Mornings host says it’s an idea the state government should seriously consider as Victoria’s mental health and homelessness crises worsen.

“It doesn’t do anybody any good to be sleeping rough on our streets where the temperatures overnight go down to as low as zero,” he said.
