What Tom Elliott has been told about the future of The Footy Show

The Footy Show as we know it is finished, Tom Elliott has been told.

The 3AW Drive host said on Friday “industry insiders” had informed him change was coming after next week’s final episode for the season.

Sam Newman won’t be there, while Eddie McGuire will only be “involved” with the program – not host.

“Already, Channel 9 is working on a new show with a fresh approach,” the 3AW Drive host said.
