Tom Elliott’s message to protesters in the wake of the Porepunkah police murders

Tom Elliott has urged the organisers of two major protests planned for this Sunday to reschedule as Victoria Police mourns the deaths of two of their own.

The Mornings host says the police force deserves a break from monitoring weekly protests, which pull officers from their duties.

“I’d say to all the protests, both the March for Australia protesters and pro-Palestine … just give it a rest for one weekend,” he said.
