Tom Elliott’s recent visit to the gym has left him questioning young people’s music taste, after his young gym instructor started playing the “worst sort of hip hop and rap as you can imagine”.

It comes as the 3AW Mornings host responded to an email after pill testing legislation was introduced into state parliament today, which stated “if you need to take drugs to enjoy a concert, you need to listen to better music”.

“A lot of music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s is really, really, really good … but a lot of the recent stuff is just awful,” he said.
