Tonight’s forecast ahead of the footy

Fans going to the MCG tonight ahead of the Demons playing the Pies tonight have been told to bring coats as the warm weather makes way for rain.

Meteorologist at the Bureau of Meteorology, Belinda House, says rain will hit Melbourne around 5pm and will continue well into the match.

“The weather is going to change for us as we work through the afternoon … for that start of the game anticipate some showers around and take your coats,” she told Neil Mitchell.
