Tony Jones blasts Geelong’s Mad Monday ‘overreaction’

Tony Jones says Geelong’s decision to scrap their traditional Mad Monday dress-ups is “completely over the top”.

Geelong announced on Wednesday that it’d be ending the current form of its post-season celebrations following this year’s controversy, with the club labelling this year’s event a “significant error of judgment”.

“To take the ultimate decision to ban (Mad Monday) is a complete and utter overreaction,” he said on 3AW Mornings.
