Tony Jones backs plan to transform ‘Melbourne’s white elephant’

Docklands could be transformed — with a rebuild for two big waterfront sites including housing, offices, shops and entertainment — under a joint plan by the state government and the AFL.

Lord mayor Sally Capp has welcomed the move, telling 3AW’s Tony Jones the area is “under-utilised and under-appreciated”.
