Collingwood great Tony Shaw says Alex Rance has to be suspended for his ‘weak’ hit on Jack Watts.

A dark night for Richmond was made worse when their star defender lashed out on the Melbourne forward in the dying stages of their 33-point defeat.

‘That is as weak as I’ve seen from a bloke who I’ve never seen lose control like that,’ Shaw said on 3AW Football.
