Tony Shaw’s big ‘negligence’ call on St Kilda’s reported offer for Tom De Koning

Carlton ruckman Tom De Koning still hasn’t put pen to paper at the Blues, with the Saints $1.7m per season offer still on the table for the talented 25-year-old.

On 3AW Football, Tony Shaw and Jimmy Bartel spoke about the big offer from St Kilda for the Carlton ruckman Tom De Koning.

“I find it pretty obscene that one bloke is going to demand that much money and someone is going to pay it,” Shaw said on 3AW Football.

“I don’t know whether you’re negligent for someone to pay someone that price out of the salary cap when it’s a ruckman who is one jump away from disaster.”
