Top roads cop appeals to public in search of road rage offender
Victoria’s top roads cop is asking the public to come forward as police search for a man responsible for a vile assault in Balwyn North.

It’s alleged the man, believed to be in his early 20s, punched a 25-year-old woman on crutches in the head after she pulled over, and continued the assault as she crawled away.
Assistant Commissioner for Road Policing Glenn Weir told Neil Mitchell they’re hopeful of catching the offender.
“We’re hopeful someone will have a (registration) number,” he said.
“They can look through their cameras, their front door bell cameras, if they’ve got those, or CCTV, and give us a rego, that’d be great.”
