Top roads cop issues warning to those ‘rolling the dice’ on Victoria’s roads
Victoria’s top roads cop has issued a warning to those “rolling the dice” and driving when they shouldn’t be.
A record number of Victorians have been caught driving unlicenced, suspended and disqualified, with a recent statewide operation catching more than 1000 motorists on the roads who shouldn’t be.
“I think people are rolling the dice, but we’re catching them,” Glenn Weir, assistant commissioner for road policing, told 3AW Breakfast.

Weir said it was vital to keep those offenders off Victoria’s roads.
“Those people are significantly overrepresented in road trauma and, at the end of the day, that’s my main concern,” he said.
