The four victims of a fiery crash near Mansfield, were Pacific Islander vegetable pickers who worked in the area.

In a scene described as “confronting”, four bodies were found in a burnt out van yesterday morning after it hit a tree and spun out of control on Mansfield-Woods Point Road in Piries.

Assistant Commissioner for Road Policing Glenn Weir says they believe the four, all males in their 20’s, had been drinking.
