Top Victorian tourism attractions hit by Chinese ticketing scam

Some of Victoria’s top tourism attractions have been hit by a Chinese ticketing scam.

Dodgy operators are using stolen credits cards to pre-purchase tickets online and are then re-selling them on a popular Chinese social media app We-Chat.

The Eureka SkyDeck, Sovereign Hill, and the Peninsula Hot Springs were been forced to make tens of thousands of dollars in refunds last year.
