Tradies voice devastation after vans broken into and tools stolen

Tradies in Mitchell and Ethan have voiced their devastation after their vans were broken into, with tools worth thousands of dollars stolen.

Mitchell lives in the bayside suburb of Bonbeach and said another person had their trailer cleaned out just two streets up from him.

Ethan lives in Toorak and said the windows of his van were smashed, also claiming it’s “not practical” to take his tools out of his van every night to avoid thefts.
